It was expected that 2023 would mark the beginning of a new stage in the commercial relations of England, Wales and Scotland and, in part, of Northern Ireland, but the decision of the English government to postpone mandatory UKCA marking until 2025 has frozen the current situation. The CE marking will continue to be enough to export to the United Kingdom for two more years.
